Change your password
Change your password to keep your account secure.
Your new password must be at least 8 characters and include an uppercase letter, lowercase letter, number, and special character. Commonly used passwords are not allowed.

- Select your profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings.
- Select User profile.
- Select Change password.
- In the Password field, enter your current password.
- In the New password field, enter your new password.
- In the Confirm new password field, re-enter your new password.
- Select Save.
- Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap User profile.
- Tap Change password.
- In the Current password field, enter your current password.
- In the New password field, enter your new password.
- Tap Save.
Set a password
If you signed up with a passkey, or removed your password after adding one, your account may not have a password at all. In that case User profile shows Set password instead of Change password.

Open Settings, then User profile, and select Set password.
- Tap the Profile tab.
- Tap Settings, then User profile.
- Tap Set password. The screen explains that this lets you sign in without your passkey.
- Enter a New password.
- Tap Set password, then confirm who you are.
Root confirms with Password set. There is a shortcut on the Passkeys screen too, which offers Set password when your account has none.
