Audio and video
Configure your microphone, speakers, camera, and input mode for calls.
Audio and video settings are only available on desktop.
Select your microphone
- Select your profile picture in the user tray.
- Select Settings.
- Select Audio and video.
- Under Audio settings, select your microphone from the Input device dropdown.
Select your speakers
- Select your profile picture in the user tray.
- Select Settings.
- Select Audio and video.
- Under Audio settings, select your speakers or headphones from the Output device dropdown.
Select your camera
- Select your profile picture in the user tray.
- Select Settings.
- Select Audio and video.
- Under Video settings, select your webcam from the Camera dropdown.
Adjust input volume
- Select your profile picture in the user tray.
- Select Settings.
- Select Audio and video.
- Under Audio settings, adjust the Input volume slider.
The slider ranges from 0% to 100%. Higher values increase your microphone sensitivity.
Adjust output volume
- Select your profile picture in the user tray.
- Select Settings.
- Select Audio and video.
- Under Audio settings, adjust the Output volume slider.
The slider ranges from 0% to 200%. Values above 100% amplify the audio output.
Set your input mode
Input mode controls how your microphone activates during calls.
- Select your profile picture in the user tray.
- Select Settings.
- Select Audio and video.
- Under INPUT MODE, choose an option:

| Push to talk | Your microphone only activates while you hold a key |
Configure push to talk
When Push to talk is selected, two additional settings appear:
- Shortcut: The key or key combination that activates your microphone. Select Edit keybind and press your preferred key to assign it.
- Release delay: How long your microphone stays active after you release the key. The slider ranges from 1 to 2000 ms. A small delay prevents speech from being clipped at the end of sentences.
Adjust noise suppression
- Select your profile picture in the user tray.
- Select Settings.
- Select Audio and video.
- Under MICROPHONE CONFIGURATION, adjust the Noise suppression strength slider.
Higher values filter out more background noise but may affect voice clarity. Lower values preserve more natural sound but allow more ambient noise through.
Adjust individual user volume
During a voice call, you can adjust the volume of individual participants without affecting your global audio settings.
- Right-click on a user in the voice call.
- In the context menu, adjust the User volume slider to control their voice volume.
The slider ranges from 0% to 200%, allowing you to boost quieter users or reduce louder ones. Your volume preferences for each user are saved and applied automatically in future calls.
Adjust screen share audio volume
When someone is sharing their screen with audio, you can adjust the volume of their screen share separately from their voice.
- Right-click on a user who is screen sharing in the voice call.
- In the context menu, adjust the Stream volume slider to control their screen share audio.
The slider ranges from 0% to 100%. Your volume preferences are saved and applied automatically in future calls.
